Throughout the week, during screenings or special events, the guest artists answer questions from the public and the two co-curators in charge of the programme.

As an extension of the Q&A and discussions with the artists during the screening sessions, three special events are proposed this year, on 11, 12 and 13 April.

The guest artists present their work and research, and talk about the state of their artistic practice in their countries, which are sometimes in transition or undergoing profound changes.

The Rencontres Internationales aim to highlight the specificities and convergences of artistic practices between new cinema and contemporary art, to explore emerging artistic forms and their critical approaches, and to allow the necessary time for points of view to intersect and be exchanged.
