A young girl is jolted awake by a gang of animated characters invading her home. Biographie Ticia Kane Ticia Kane est née à New York. Elle a été diplômée en 1971 de la School of the Museum of Fina Arts de Boston et de la Tufts University. Après avoir enseigné pendant plusieurs années l'art dans des écoles publiques, elle complète son MFA en peinture à l'Université du Massachusetts, à Amherst. L'année suivante, elle obtient le Massachussetts Artists Fellowship in Sculpture. Elle a exposé ses sculptures et peintures en Nouvelle Angleterre et, après une installation sculpture au Hampshire College Art Gallery à Amherst, un ami lui suggère d'essayer l'animation sur Macintosh. Un storybord a vite suivi, et 'Shadow in the Room', son premier projet vidéo, commence. Ticia Kane continue à peindre sur toile, elle imprime également des images grand format de ses vidéos. Elle vit dans l'ouest du Massachussetts. Born in New York City,Ticia Kane graduated in 1971 from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston and Tufts University with a BFA. After teaching art in public schools for several years, she completed an MFA in Painting at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, Massachusetts in 1982. The following year, she received the Massachusetts Artists Fellowship in Sculpture. She continued to exhibit her painting and sculpture in New England, and it was in 1988, after finishing a sculptural installation at Hampshire College Art Gallery in Amherst, that a friend suggested she try animating her paintings on a Macintosh computer. A storyboard soon followed, and SHADOW IN THE ROOM, her first video project, began. In the meantime, Kane continued to paint on canvas. She also began producing large prints from her animation stills, and planning a second animation video. She lives in Western Massachusetts. Nino Sandow Nino Sandow is composer and musician. Nino Sandow was born in 1961. He is a graduate of the Musikhochschule Hanns Eissler Berlin, where he received degrees as an opera singer in 1988 and a director of musical theatre in 1992. He has worked as an opera singer at the Komische Oper in Berlin and at the Hans-Otto-Theatre in Potsdam. From 1990 to 1996 he was a member of the Berliner Ensemble where he acted in productions of directors Fritz Marquart, Peter Zadek and others. Since 1996 his work has included composing and performing music for theatre productions as well as several band and solo projects, acting in theatre, movies and television, and work as a performance artist. Mr. Sandow is married and has two children. He lives in Berlin, Germany. Nino Sandows est compositeur et musicien. Il est né en 1961.
