The enigmatic and unexpected screening of Homo Genesis challenges our perception of art, the media and the detached way we view the uninterrupted flow of images and information on screen. Biographie Antoanetta Ivanova est une artiste aux talents multiples qui produit des films expérimentaux et des installations. Son projet intègre les multiples traditions de son héritage bulgare et son actuelle fascination pour le matériel digital qu'elle utilise pour faire ressortir ces voix et ces histoires appartenant à l'identité humaine, et qui sont constamment rejetées par le courant dominant. Antoanetta habite à Hobart en Australie. Elle a participé à de très nombreux festivals en Australie, aux Etats-Unis, au Royaume-Uni, en Bulgarie et en Grèce avec notamment le prestigieux festival du film de Sydney, le Multimedia Arts Asia Pacific 2000 et le MEDI@TERRA d'Athènes. Elle a obtenu une licence avec mention à l'université de Tasmanie et a été récompensée pour ses travaux par le Comité Artistique d'Australie, le réseau australien des arts et technologies et l'association australienne des arts visuels. Antoanetta est également la fondatrice de Morphogenic - une entreprise de production de nouveaux média dédiée au développement de formes artistiques multiculturelles et multidisciplinaires. Elle a enfin produit deux courts métrages et prévoit en ce moment de sortir un DVD en son surround sur un projet d'installation intitulé " Je ne veux pas te blesser " (I don't want to hurt you). Für ihre Projekte integriert sie die verschiedenen Traditionen ihrer bulgarischen Erbschaft und ihre gegenwärtige Faszination für digitale Materialen, die sie benutzt, um die Geschichten der menschlichen Identitäten hervorzuheben. Based in Sydney Australia, Antoanetta's work has been exhibited at prestigious festivals in Australia, USA and Europe. Her latest project 'Homo Genesis' was included in dLux media arts, Australia's premier annual show case of inter/national experimental film, video and new media works and was screened at the Sydney Film Festival and MAAP 2000 - Multimedia Art Asia Pacific Festivalin Brisbane. Most recently, Antoanetta has presented a workshop and participated in 'Polar Circuit 3', international workshop for media artists and writers in Finland and was the Tasmanian delegate to the 3rd International Digital Arts and Culture Conference (DAC 2000), Bergen (Nor). Antoanetta holds an Honours degree from the University of Tasmania and has been awarded development grands from the Australia Council for the Arts, The Australian Network for Art & Technology, Arts Tasmania and the Australian National Association for the Visual Arts. She is a founding member of 'morphogenic - a'dynamic new media production group, dedicated to the development of new cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary creative art forms. Antoanetta is currently researching the serious and sensitive issues of interconnected intelligence and cultural interfaces.
