Ses cheveux sont ébouriffés. Elle est pieds nus et porte une robe blanche. Une aura lumineuse l'entoure. Elle est agacée et agressive. On ne sait absolument pas d'où elle vient et pourquoi elle agit de la sorte. Elle s'adresse au spectateur avec un écho. Elle ne sait pas où elle se trouve et n'est au courant de rien. On se sent intégré au travail et une situation interactive et communicative s'instaure. Ses questions résonnent sans cesse dans l'espace et l'écho les rend de plus en plus absurdes. Son langage devient entêtant et agressif. Toutefois, on comprend au bout d'un certain temps que ces questions n'appellent aucune réponse de sa part. Elle est désormais seule et malheureuse dans son propre monde. Eine junge Frau steht da, frontal und lebensgroß. Ihre Haare sind zerwühlt. Sie ist barfuß und trägt ein weißes Kleid. Eine leuchtende Aura umgibt sie. Sie wirkt gereizt und aggressiv. Es ist völlig unklar, wie sie einzuordnen ist, woher sie kommt. Mit einem Echo spricht sie den Betrachter recht forsch an, ob er sich hier auskenne, wo sie hier sei, ob er Bescheid wisse. Man fühlt sich gefordert und in die Arbeit integriert. Eine interaktive kommunikative Situation scheint sich aufzubauen. Immer wieder ertönen ihre Fragen im Raum, das Echo macht die Situation umso absurder. Die Frau wirkt in ihrer verbalen Art aufdringlich, enervierend. Doch mit der Zeit wird deutlich, daß sie ihre Fragerei stoisch fortsetzt ohne selbst Antwort zu erwarten. Man kann sich erleichtert aus der Konfrontation lösen. Jetzt erscheint sie nur noch einsam und bedauernswert in ihrem hellen Schein. A young woman is standing there, life-size, fullface. Her hair is tousled. She is bare feet and wears a white dress. A bright aura is surrounding her. She is irritated and aggressive. We really don't know what she's doing here and why she's acting this way. She is talking to the viewers with an echo. She doesn't know where she is. We make part of this work and an interactive communicative situation appears. Her questions reverberate in this space and the echo makes them sound more and more absurd. Her aggressive language goes to the head. However we understand to a certain point that her questions don't need to be answered by her. She's now alone and distressed in her own world. Biographie Je suis née le 23 février 1965 à Leipzig. En 1983, j'obtiens mon baccalauréat et je suis les cours du soir à l'école supérieure d'art graphique de Leipzig. A partir de 1985, j'étudie à l'école artistique supérieur Giebichstein sous la direction de Inge Götze et obtient mon diplôme en 1991. En 1991, je reçois une bourse d'une association franco-allemande pour un séjour d'études à Paris. J'y étudie entre 91 et 92 à l'Ecole supérieure des beaux arts de Paris avec Christian Boltanski. En 1997, j'ai été assistante à L'école des beaux-arts du Mans.J'habite actuellement entre Paris et Berlin. 1965: Geburtsort Leipzig. 1985-1990: Studium an der Hochschule für Kunst und Design Halle bei Prof. I. Goetze. 1990-1991: Meisterschüler. 1991-1992: Studium an der Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts Paris - bei Christian Boltanski. 1997: Lehrauftrag an der Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Le Mans. Lebt und arbeitet in Berlin und Paris. I was born on February, 23rd 1965 in Leipzig. In 1983 I graduated from high school and I took evening classes at the national graphic design school in Leipzig. From 1985 on, I studied at the National Art College with professor Inge Götze et I graduated in 1991. In 1991 I received a grant from a French and German association to study in Paris. I studied there between 1991 and 1992 at the Ecole supérieure des beaux arts with Christian Boltanski. In 1997 I was assistant teacher at the fine arts school in Le Mans. I currently live and work in Paris and Berlin.
