Ce phénomène se retrouve dans la vidéo " Downstairs ", dans laquelle je joue le rôle de l'épouse. La situation se répète mais les grooms sont à chaque fois différents. Le mariage est en fait une allusion à l'ouvre de Marcel Duchamp (" nu dans l'escalier ") qui intensifie cette joie futuriste et la dynamique de la vie. Malgré tout, l'optimisme de mon travail qui est à plusieurs reprises projeté dans le futur et vécu dans le présent est discutable de par la répétition du mariage. La légitimation matrimoniale génère une tension, comme une indifférence face à cette expérience. C'est une confrontation entre la recherche de solutions futuristes et la mythologie de la vitalité et de l'innocence. De ce fait, cette tentative sert à montrer l'aspect paradoxal et primaire des habitudes sociales de la société contemporaine. The acceleration of technological and social change has increased the fragmentation of individual identity and provoked alienation (though two people stay together, "the other is so totally other" - Emmanuel Levinas). This phenomena is reflected in the video work "Downstairs", in which I perform the role of the bride, but the grooms are different - the situation is being repeated, but the choice of the groom is different. This wedding is an allusion to the work "Nude Descending a Staircase" by Marcel Duchamp, escalating futuristic joy and dynamics of life. However, the optimism of my work, projected into the future experienced in the present several times, is doubtful, as the wedding is repeated. The matrimonial legitimisation creates tension, and its repetition - a certain indifference to this experience. It is a confrontation of a search for futuristic solutions and the mythology of primitive vitality and innocence. In this way an attempt is made to show the paradoxical archetypal (primeval) character of the social customs of contemporary society.
