The Rencontres Internationales invites directors, curators, artistic directors and programmers of museums and contemporary art centers in contemporary cinema, video and new media.
After a short presentation of their organization or institution, the members of the panel will discuss their work and the questions and preoccupations they encounter in the field of moving images and digital arts. In
the second half each guest will talk about the changes they notice in artistic and cultural practices, and about how we could rethink these cultural practices.
Participants:
Ruxandra Balaci, directrice artistique - MNAC National Museum of Contemporary Art / Bucharest
Kati Ilves, curatrice - Kumu Art Museum, Musée national d'art contemporain d'Estonie, Tallinn
Pirkko Siitari, curatrice - KIASMA Museum of Contemporary Art, Helsinki
