Frank Kunkel *1955; studierte Ethnobotanik an der J.W.v.Goethe Universität, Frankfurt a.M. Nach mehrjährigem Auslandsaufenthalt (Sprachstudien) schloß er 1989 eine kaufmännische Ausbildung in Berlin ab. Ab 1990 betätigte er sich zunächst als freier Kursleiter im EDV Bereich in der Erwachsenenbildung. 1992 Produktionsleitung für die Piazetta Virtuale Berlin im Rahmen der documenta IX. Seither zahlreiche Herstellungsleitungen im Bereich TV und Printproduktionen, wie auch im Bereich vernetzte Medien. Zwischen 1994 und 1996 Projektkoordination der Internationalen Stadt Berlin, an deren Gründung er beteiligt war. In dieser Zeit betätigte er sich u.a. an der Produktion des Digitalen Umweltatlas und der Online Wahlberichterstattung für das Land Berlin, verschiedene Projekte im Haus der Kulturen der Welt, Hewlett Packard, Messe Leipzig, Deutsche Telekom und dokumenta X. Seit 1996 freie Projektkoordination im Ausstellungs- und Leitsystem Bereich (Traum vom Sehen, Hamburger Bahnhof, Deutsches Museum, Hamburger Kunsthalle), sowie Intranet und Extranet Projekte.
