Night after night, he dreams only himself alone in his room, as thought a mirror had been placed in his memory. Later, as his dreams become increasingly vivid and frenetic, he realise that someone is there in the screening room with him and begins to tell stories. For whom does Adam dream? Who is in the projection room with Adam that is, For whom are these dream are recounted? Counted like the fingers on a hand -one, two, three, four, five- the dream sare a literal document of Adam at the beginning; what he will be will be inferred, or remembered, in his dreams.
