Il a étudié à la Scuola Nazionale di Cinema où il a terminé ses études en 1990. Il s'intéresse aussi aux arts plastiques et il fait plusieurs expositions individuelles et collectives (travaux graphiques, événements artistiques, performances et interventions). Born in Rimini, Italy, in 1963. Within cinematography he works both as a director (Una strada diritta lunga, 1994, official selection Cannes 1994, 1st prize Montpellier 1994, codirected with M.L. Spagnoli) and a cinematographer. He graduated at Centro Sperimental di Cinematografia, later scuola Nazionale di cinema, in 1990, but his interest also includes plastic arts, as it is shown in a great number of personal and joint art exhibitions (graphic works, but also advanced aesthetic art events, performances and interventions).
