"The future of festivals"
Following on from the debate initiated by Lars Henrik Gass, director of the Oberhausen International Short Firlm Festival (Germany), and the special edition published under his direction in collaboration with the journal Schnitt, the Cahiers du Cinéma Spain proposes a debate on the same subject, in partnership with International Meetings.
In the new audiovisual environment, how must traditional film festivals recycle their contents? What must be their function considering the new forms of image consumption? Which bridges must be laid between film and contemporary art?
