Where is the end of Mexico and beginning of the United States? By means of a contemplative and experimental approach this documentary pose the present panorama and everyday life in northeast Mexico and south of Texas. A pursuit to find an own identity, through atmospheres and ambient states in a region whe a river divides the third and first world of a whole continent.

Jaiziel Hernández Máynez was born march 9, 1987 in Saltillo, Coahuila in a family of industrial workers. At age of 18, he entered the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica in Mexico city, where he studied the cinematography bachelor. He has made the cinematography of short films like Felipe (2009) winner of Garcia Bross/Studio 5 de Mayo special prize in the Morelia int Film Festival 2009. Currently he is developing a documentary project about the affected people of the drug war that is happening right now in Mexico.
