Major event dedicated to contemporary audiovisual creation, the Rencontres Internationales will be held in Paris from April 10 to 15, 2018, at Forum des images, Centre Pompidou, Carreau du Temple, Luminor Hôtel de Ville and Cité internationale des arts. Throughout 6 days of free access, a space for discovery and sharing focused on moving image contemporary practices will be available to all.
Crossing new cinema and contemporary art, this unique platform in Europe provides a rare opening on contemporary audiovisual practices. Documentary approaches, experimental fictions, videos, hybrid forms: the programme of Les Rencontres Internationales is the result of a thorough research and of invitations to some artists, personalities from cinema and the contemporary art fields.
In the presence of artists and filmmakers from all over the world, you will attend indoor screenings - premieres, cartes blanches, special events, video focus -, performances , panel discussions and a forum led by directors of art centres and museums, curators, artists and distributors who will share with the audience their experience and views on new audiovisual practices.
