Contemporary visual culture holds the convergence between the aesthetic, social and political issues and adapts to the continuing development of production and dissemination technologies. Les Rencontres Internationales offers a future-oriented way of observing these practices.

Crossing new cinema and contemporary art, this unrivalled event in Europe provides a unique opening on contemporary audiovisual practices. Documentary approaches, experimental fictions, videos, hybrid forms: the programme of Rencontres Internationales is the result of a thorough research and invitations to some artists, personalities from the cinema and the contemporary art.

In the presence of artists and filmmakers from all over the world, the event will offer an international program gathering 120 works from 40 countries, internationally-known artists and filmmakers along with young artists and filmmakers presented for the first time in Paris: screenings - Premières, cartes blanches, video programme -, performances and concerts, and a forum.

The programme is entirely in free admission.
