Irini Karayannopoulou was born in 1973 in Thessaloniki (Greece). She completed an artist residency at the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Karlsruhe (Germany) and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Plastic Expression at the Saint-Etienne School of Fine Arts. She participated to several exhibitions, solo « Unlimited Contemporary Art » (Athens, 2004), « Vitamin Contemporary » (Turin), or collective « Art in General » (New-York, 2004) and « Listes » (Basel, 2004/2005).
